Four years ago, Chris and I decided to build something different in Rochester. We weren't interested in becoming another contracting crew where your kitchen remodel was just the fourth job on the schedule and nobody showed up when they said they would. We wanted to run a business where our word actually meant something.

The early days taught us fast. We took on everything—kitchen remodels, bathroom work, basement projects, painting inside and out. We refinished cabinets. We built specialty rooms. We learned which trades didn't communicate. We saw how a late sub could derail a client's trust in the whole crew. Most of all, we learned that being present and available wasn't a luxury feature. It was the only way we wanted to work.

Starting as a family-owned operation meant we had accountability built in. My son and I weren't hiding behind a phone line. We were showing up. We were standing behind what we delivered. That's still how we operate today.

What the Work Taught Us

Your word is your reputation. When we tell you we'll be there Thursday morning, we're there Thursday morning. When we say a finish will hold up, it will. We've watched contracts fall apart because someone gave a client an estimate without believing they could deliver it. We refuse to do that. Your home deserves better, and so do you.

Superior workmanship isn't negotiable. It's the difference between a bathroom that's functionally done and a bathroom that makes you want to spend time in it. It's the difference between painted cabinets and cabinets that will still look clean and sharp five years from now. We don't cut corners on material or process, because we know what happens when you do.

Old school service isn't an act. It means you get to talk to the people actually doing the work. No layers. No callbacks to an office manager. You get Chris or me, available to answer questions, walk through options, and fix problems the same day they come up. That's how my grandfather ran his business. That's how we run ours.
